Character Backstory
before the meteorite, had a farm here (green dot):
- the farm's fruitful land was slowly contaminated
- farm was far away enough to provide enough food for mina over the past 15 years
- additionally, Mina had long been tinkering with divine magic; and something (possibilities: slowly somewhat-contaminated over the years / came into contact with delerium / ...; maybe I myself don't know yet what exactly gave me my powers?) ignited her inner Druid
- her partner, with whom she has been running the farm for ages, has become gravely sick since she returned from Drakkenheim. Mina isn't as strong any more as she once was and thus can't manage the farm alone, so she wants to save her beloved and embarks on a journey to find an antidote
- leaves partner at home; taken care of by a friend from Kembal's village
- knows Kembal, who lives in a village north along the river, and joins him on journey to Drakkenheim
